August Gold served as a spiritual founder and director of Sacred Center New York for eight years, a teacher, counselor and spiritual mentor in New York City for twenty-five, and a grateful volunteer at the Manhattan Center for Living, Gay Men’s Health Crisis and the Samaritans Suicide Hotline. She spent her twenties in Alanon which set her on the path to good love.
Translated into 15 languages, her books with co-author Joel Fotinos include the Family Circle Book of the Month The Prayer Chest, as well as Multiply Your Blessings, and the Think & Grow Rich Workbook Series. Her award-winning children’s book, Where Does God Live?, “Was one of the best introductions to ideas about God and oneself for children,” the Toronto Star reported. She was a regular guest on the Hallmark Channel “A New Day” offering deeply simple spiritual practices for living a more centered life, including her 5-5-5 Spiritual Morning Practice which was produced as its own segment.
With an empowered presence and voice, August weaves transformational teachings of the Tao Te Ching through story – once a week at the Tuesday spiritual group Living Agelessly and once a month at the Saturday workshops |Ft Lauderdale, and once a season at Happy Hour | New York City.
Since 1990 she has offered thousands of people the opportunity to access the wisdom of their indwelling soul through a Soul Sessions.
